Germany will not be an obstacle at Huawei for 5G network


Germany's government will not forbid to huawei to take part at the construction of 5G net,
has said Peter Altmeiter. Although he said that Berlin will impose strict security criteria at all
the suppliers.

 Specifically when he was asked if Berlin will forbid Huawei to participate in the
forthcoming 5G network competition, because of the concerns expressed about the
company's relationship with the Chinese government, Almeyer replied, "no, we do not want
to exclude any company. But he added that the law would change to require that 5G
networks be safe and there should be no breaches of data protection regulations.
